At Belle Ferme we offer camps to both children and adults, both day camps and week long camps during the holidays. Minis Holiday Camps - from 3 to 6 years old

For children from 3 to 6 years old, for whom full days would be too strenuous, we offer ‘mini’ stages. These start at 10 am and end at noon.

Over Summer, “Mini” lessons are also organised in the afternoons, from 3 to 5 pm. The children will be accompanied for a gentle introduction: they will help take care of our Shetlands, brush and tack them up before getting in the saddle and learning the basics. A snack will then be provided to our mini champions.

Sometimes it will be a ride, sometimes a lesson in the indoor or outdoor arena – always with the aim of having fun all the while learning about respect and trust with their four-legged friends.

Holiday camp juniors/teens: from 7 to 18 years

We offer stages during every school holiday, except over Christmas. The schedule is  9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m, Monday through to Friday.

During the July & August holidays, we organize summer stages, which take place every week starting at the end of the school year, except 1st week of August when we close. For summer camps, reservation must be made for the entire week. As a result, it is impossible to book for a single day during the summer holidays. However, for those of Autumn, Easter, etc., it is possible to register for one or more days, or – of course – for the whole week.

The prices are visible on the brochure.

A typical day of stage includes a riding lesson in the morning and one in the afternoon (the riders being divided into groups depending on their level) but also theoretical lessons on the maintenance of the horse, its well-being, its characteristics, and on horse riding in general: knowledge that will be put into practice during group lessons. Riders may also have the opportunity to do pony games, attelage, voltige, jumping, dressage, and cross-country (if their level permits it). The lessons are based on the FFE (French Equestrian Federation) exam system, each level of which is called a “Gallop”. Children will take the exam at the end of the week if they wish, depending on their progress and if the skills acquired are sufficient to pass the exam. In this case, they receive a diploma from the FFE.

A member of the team, certified, takes care of the children during the lunch breaks and organizes games, quizzes, etc., while the ponies enjoy their moment of rest for their own lunch ! Children must bring their own food. We do not have catering on site, except a vending machine for drinks.

Riders have the possibility of arriving earlier and / or leaving later if this is better suited to their parents’ work schedules, and can take advantage of this to take care of the ponies. We have some hard hats that we can lent. But make sure your children are well dressed according to the season! Putting their names on their clothing is highly recommended.

All levels are welcome: beginner, intermediate or advanced. Full week stages are organized for children over 6 years old. However, this is not a strict rule, if a child is confident and able to follow all day without the other riders being disadvantaged, he/she is welcome. A deposit of 50 euros is required when booking to make it valid. This can be paid via our website with your access code, by credit card, by check or in cash.

DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL US TO REGISTER (04.50.41.76.73) OR TO REGISTER THROUGH YOUR KAVALOG ACCOUNT IF YOU ARE ALREADY A BELLE FERME MEMBER

Day Camp: Adults

The camps during the school holidays are tailored for children. Adults are welcome, but must therefore adapt to the approach and the atmosphere of the younger ones !

Throughout the year, on the other hand, a few days are planned for day stages for adults (in principle Sundays or holidays): for improvement, or to take the ‘Gallop’ exams, etc. Holiday Packs are also a good way to progress without having to book full days.

Holiday lesson pack: all ages

The Holiday Pack allows the rider to take one private lesson per day for 5 consecutive days. This is possible for all ages and all levels! For Minis & BB riders, instead of being private lessons, there are 5 consecutive days of short walks (30 min) or group lessons. The goal is to be able to progress quickly, regain confidence and not wait a week before the next lesson.

The Holiday Packs are available mainly during school holidays, but can be organised any time of year depending on availabilities. It is also possible to take 2 Holiday Packs in a week, and thus do 2 private lessons per day. It’s à la carte!
