TREC, an acronym for Technique Equestre de Compétition, is one of the most varied outdoor disciplines, with 3 different tests grouped together over one day: orientation, control of gaits and ptv, for a course over varied terrain.
During this course, we’ll be concentrating solely on the ptv, which involves a succession of devices encountered outdoors: crossing trunks, low branches, handling exercises, low branches…
Each exercise is evaluated according to the couple’s frankness and composure. The choice of gait is free in most exercises, with the emphasis on control.
This course is reserved for riders with at least galop 4, as it takes place at least partly outdoors.
